Detailed Description

Ambient Audio are sounds that are "just there". These sounds do not require any additional processing nor do they need to take into account the listener location. For example: A character is in an environment listening to music in their headphones. Only the sounds from the headphones would be considered "ambient", all other sounds would need to positional information in order to be "heard" correctly.

const QString &  data_location
)

The data at the specified data_location is loaded and associated with the provided name. If an existing sound is already associated with that name, the already existing sound will be deleted.

The sound will have these initial settings:

• Volume: 50%
• Looping: false

data_locationWhere to find the audio data to load.

Provides the current looping status of the sound with the specified name.

The sound with the specified name will stop playing immediately. If the named sound is not playing, this method does nothing.
